GUZMAN, Jose T.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, November 01, 2010 Jose T. Guzman, 86, passed away Oct. 28, 2010, at his home in Prescott. He was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Santa Paula, Calif., to Jose and Patricia Guzman. Jose served our country with the Merchant Marines, participating in D-Day during WWII. He was a 32nd Degree Mason whose greatest joy was helping disabled children during his many years with the Shriners. Jose is survived by his wife, Alejandra Guzman; his sons, Ruben L. Guzman of Prescott and Mark A. Guzman of Santa Ana, Calif.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rafaela Lupercio Guzman and his daughter, Rosemary Gephardt of State College, Pa. There are no services scheduled at this time.
