HIPPARD, Charles Kenneth (Ken)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 2, 2010 Charles Kenneth Hippard, 71, died Thursday, Oct. 28. 2010, at this home in Arivaca. He was born Jan 10, 1939, in Chicago, Ill. Ken moved with his family to Globe in the '50s and later relocated to Show Low where his father owned and operated Ken’s Cleaners for many years. He attended grade school in Show Low and Snowflake Union High School, he also attended Lakeside High School where he graduated. Upon his graduation he served as a Merchant Marine for several years traveling the world. He later moved to Shumway and was employed by Southwest Forest Industries for many years. He then moved to Arivaca where he lived out his remaining years. He is survived by his sister: Marcia Hippard Larson; nephews: Mel H. Larson of Taylor, Mark E. Larson of Tempe, Melissa Jo Busby of Silver City, N.M. and first wife Susan Hippard of Shumway. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Rochelle Hyde and George Kenneth Hippard and niece Marcy Ann Larson. No services will be held.
