Harry Joseph Schaar, 71, of Phoenix, a teacher and salesman, died Dec. 24, 1999. He was born in Mobridge, S.D. Survivors include his wife, Hannah; daughter, Stephanie Haugen; sisters, Cathy Meyer, Rhoda Knapp and Louise Dorlaque; brothers, William and Ralph and three grandchildren. Services: First Christian Church, 6750 N. Seventh Avenue, Phoenix. Contributions: Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Anatomic Gift Foundation.
