HAHN, Roger Eugene


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, November 3, 2010 Roger Eugene Hahn passed away Oct. 30, 2010, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 75. He was born Nov. 18, 1934, to Harry and Geraldine (Austin) Hahn in New Buffalo, Mich. After 30 years of service, Roger decided it was time to retire from his job at General Dynamics in Pomona, Calif., where he worked in the electronics department. Shortly thereafter, he and his wife, Charlotte, moved to Lake Havasu City 15 years ago. He was proud of the fact that he had earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business management. Roger was a member of Havasu Senior Center and Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed traveling in his RV and square dancing in his younger years. Roger leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Hahn; sons, Michael Hahn and Darrell Hahn; daughter, Susan Hahn; sister, Joanne Vernon; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Brother C.H. Snitchler from Santa Maria, Calif., will be offering words of comfort and inspiration. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Roger’s name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
