Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, November 03, 2010 Ralph Wayne Swindler, age 66 of Roosevelt, Ariz. passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010. He was born on Feb. 7, 1944, in Mena, Ark., the son of Lois (Byrd) and Charles Standlee. Ralph loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing his guitar, singing, sketching, playing cards and going to the casino. Ralph will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by his family and friends. Ralph leaves behind in loving memory his wife of 48 years, Dolly Swindler of Roosevelt, Ariz., whom he married on Jan. 3, 1962; two sons, Dewayne (Brandy) Swindler of Roosevelt and Bryan Swindler of Roosevelt; one brother, Charlie (Janice) Standlee of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Regina (Stan) Gibson of Bowie, Ariz. and Ella (Dave) Dover of Missouri; seven grandchildren, Krystal and James Lopez, Michael, Brianna, Andrew, Brandon and Bailey; and one great- granddaughter, Aubrey. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Curly” and Lois. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel, 237 S. Sutherland St., in Globe, Ariz. Graveside Services will be on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at noon at Fairview Cemetery on Sunset Drive in Superior, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Ralph W. Swindler were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
