Dora Ruth Garbarino Simmons, 77, of Phoenix, a homemaker, died Dec. 25, 1999. She was born in Prescott. Survivors include her daughters, Mary R. Beck and Betty J. Strobel; son, Joseph Jr.; sisters, Minnie Waldron and Naomi Schumacher; brother, Walter Carbarino; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services: University Presbyterian Church, 139 E.
