MAKELA, Helen Esther

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, November 05, 2010 Helen Esther Makela, 98, a homemaker of Cornville, Ariz., since 1965 (formerly of Phoenix, Ariz., Minnesota and Michigan) passed away, with family at her side, Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at Mingus Terrace assisted living home in Cottonwood, Ariz. She was born Sept. 21, 1912, in Hurontown, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Makela, in 2004. She is survived by three of her five children, Bill, Jim and Maija. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 13, 2010, at First Southern Baptist Church in Cottonwood. Your hands may rest now; their work on Earth is done. Information provided by survivors.
