Smith 13 July 1913 - 1 October 2010 Announcing a celebration of a life well spent as a loving wife and mother who from youth would go to any length to help family and friends. Marguerite was born on a farm in northern New Jersey and never lost her love of animals and a desire to return to her beloved state. Uprooted to Prescott Valley, Ariz., in the 1980s with her husband Ken, she always reminisced about New Jersey with everyone. Even surrounded by the paradise of northern Arizona, her golden retriever Heidi and many close friends, Marguerite pined for New Jersey, especially after the passing of her husband in 1985. Marguerite was blessed with good health throughout life until her very last day in Monterey, Calif., amongst the pines overlooking the ocean, which she passionately loved. Marguerite's ashes will be scattered at sea, bringing closure to a long loving life. Information provided by survivors.
