SCHNEIDER, Gabrielle

Evergreen Mortuary Tucson, Arizona Gabrielle Schneider, 87 of Tucson, died Sunday, October 31, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. Schneider, she was the cherished mother of Richard (Nancy) Weiss of Tucson and Mark (Marilyn) Weiss of Phoenix; devoted grandmother of Hayley, Melissa and Louis Weiss, all of Tucson. Mrs. Schneider was a Holocaust survivor and was active in Holocaust education at public schools; she was a published author, avid tennis player, swimmer and taught piano for over 40 years. Gabrielle had an incredible enthusiasm for life, art, and most of all love of family; she was an inspiration to all those who's life's she touched. Graveside service 12:30 P.M., Tuesday, November 2, 2009, EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, Congregation Anshei Israel Section, with Rabbi Robert Eisen and Cantor Ivor Lichterman officiating.
