YEAGER, Dennis Alan

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 21, 2008 Dennis Alan Yeager went to Jesus' arms Nov. 14, 2008. He was born on Father's Day, June 17, 1973, in Page. Dennis attended elementary school in Springerville and Vernon. He attended Show Low Junior High and graduated from Show Low High in 1992. He was active in choir, football, baseball, basketball, track and wrestling. Later Dennis attended Northland Pioneer College and Mesa Community College. On Sept. 12, 1998, he married the love of his life, Joelle. Dennis worked as a backhoe operator for Poteet Construction Inc. Dennis is survived by his wife, Joelle; children Justin, Shelby, Tyler, Jacob and Colten; parents David and Jennie Yeager; brothers David of Missouri and Donovan of Flagstaff; sisters Danielle (Jason) Slaughter of Bakersfield and Diane (Sean) West of Prescott; as well as many nephews and nieces. Dennis was a devoted and loving son, husband and father. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved God and his family. Dennis will be greatly missed. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 320 N. 9th St. in Show Low, and one hour prior to services at the church Saturday, Nov. 22. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the High Country Church of Christ (across from the Show Low Airport on Highway 60). Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
