The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 2, 2008 Doris Jean Erickson, 48, of Show Low died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside. She was born Jan. 22, 1960, in Tucson to Duane and Violet (Branch) Erickson. She was reared and attended school in Long Beach, Calif. She was united in marriage to Jorge Bonilla 30 years ago in Huntington Park, Calif. She worked for Loreal cosmetics. She came to Show Low in 1994. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband, Jorge; two daughters, Angela Garcia of Phoenix and Lisa (Vincent) Bonilla of Show Low; son Tony (Marlene) Bonilla of Denver, Colo.; mother Violet Erickson of Riverside, Calif.; four sisters, Sandra Lewis of Riverside, Calif., Susan Erickson of Long Beach, Calif., Rosalinda Bonilla of Norwalk, Calif., and Michelle Purvis of Long Beach, Calif.; brother Robert Earl Purvis of Riverside, Calif., and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father. Viewing and visitation will be Friday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Black's Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Joe Blonski at St. Rita Catholic Church Saturday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
