Interment will be at Lake View Cemetery, Bridgeport, Conn. Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Wednesday, November 17, 2010 Our mother, Florence Collins, left us for paradise on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010. She was born March 6, 1919, and spent the last 50 years of her life in the state she loved the most, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irv Collins, and her daughter, Leona Griffin. She is survived by her sons, Robert Oppel (Phyllis) and Victor Oppel (Debra); also by her daughters, Gail Jackson (Joseph), Dolores Albo and Linda Papillon (Jay); and an informally adopted daughter, Billie Jean Connors (Paul). Billie Jean was especially helpful to the family in our mother's last years. She also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would also like to thank everyone at Cerbat Nursing Home and the Sunshine Assisted Living Home who were so good to our mother in the past 18 months. No services are scheduled. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport, Conn.
