ROBINETT, Van Buren

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 5, 2008 Van Buren Robinett, 55, of Snowflake died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center. Van was born Sept. 20, 1953, in Denver, Colo., to Van and Loraine Robinett. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps serving his country from 1978 to 1986. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Robinett of Snowflake; mother Loraine (Gerald) Bartonek of Taylor; two sisters, Linda (Rick) Kargard of Iowa and Betty Bryant of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brother John (Cora) Robinett of Tucson; and mother-in-law Francine Foster of Snowflake. He was preceded in death by his father, Van Buren Robinett II. Private services will be held. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
