Norman Wesley Mead, 85, died Dec. 6, 2008.

Norm's passion was the state of Arizona. A self-made publisher/photographer, Norm is survived by his loving wife, Mae; four children; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.

Funeral services will be held at Melcher Mortuary, 43 S. Stapley in Mesa on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 11:30 a.m. Melcher Mortuary can be reached at (480) 964-4537.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
