PLUMB, Edwin Glen


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 12, 2010 Edwin Glen Plumb, 60, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at his home in Eagar. He was born April 22, 1950, in St. Johns to Glen Dale Plumb and Rachel LaRue Mortensen Plumb. Edwin was a Lieutenant for Apache County Sheriff’s Office for 26 years, retiring in 1999. He also owned and operated Ed’s Appliance for 20 plus years. Edwin loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His family was his greatest joy. He was a devoted member of the Milligan Valley Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding multiple callings. Edwin and Brenda were sealed in the Mesa Temple and had their children sealed to them there also. Edwin is survived by his wife, Brenda Gail (Anway) Plumb of Eagar; sons: Jeramy (Shawna) Plumb of Chino Valley; Justin Glen Plumb of Eagar; and five grandchildren: Shyanne, Tyler, Rachel, Branson and Katherine (KC). He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Dovie Plumb and sister Katherine Evans. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, with Visitation at 12:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center in Eagar. Interment will follow services at the Springerville Cemetery.
