BRODERSON, Jessica Lynn

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 23, 2008 Jessica Lynn Broderson, 29, died Oct. 19, 2008, at her home in St. Johns. She was born Aug. 5, 1979, in Phoenix. Jessica had the ability to change others through her loving expressions. Anyone who knew Jessica and her mother Linda would believe in the saying that "He doesn't give us what we can't handle." Over the years, her care was given with grace, love and determination. Jessica was very special. She had an angelic presence. Although her time on earth has ended, her memory will live on. She touched many lives and all who knew her learned that it is possible to have a high quality of life despite a disability. Jessica was greatly loved and loved others. There are people that walk through this world having neither and yet they have no apparent disability. Ask yourself then, who was disabled? The person that fails to connect or the young woman named Jessica that made such an impression on us all? Jessica is survived by her loving mother, Linda Gonzalez of St. Johns; brother Matthew Broderson of Phoenix; grandmother Elsie Vickers; uncles Mark Fick of Phoenix and Michael Fick of New Mexico; aunt Shirley Scott of Cottonwood; nephew Matthew; and nieces Sierra and Kaitlyn. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. at the St. Johns Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of St. Johns handled the arrangements.
