James Neal (Jim) Spencer, of Lakeside, went to be with Jesus November 8, 2010 at 9:00PM MST at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center. He was 71. Jim was born on April 7, 1939 in Dennison, Texas to the late Roderick and Rosalee (Tidron) Spencer.
Jim worked for IBM as an Electrical Engineer where he resided in Sherman, TX, Boulder, CO and Tucson, AZ before retiring after 30 years of service. He was an amazing husband of 51 years to wife Patti Spencer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patti of Lakeside; 3 children Rhonda, Barry and wife Caryln, Amy and 7 beautiful grandchildren all of Tucson; a brother, Harold of Dennison, TX; sisters, Linda, Carol and Pam all of Dennison, TX.
He had a passion for God, Family and many dear friends in all the places he and wife Patti lived over the years. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Jim's final wishes were for his body to be donated for science research for futher education and treatment of Amyloidosis disease.
Private services will be held at a later date.
