TRISDALE, Roy C., Sr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 30, 2008 Roy C. Trisdale Sr. died Oct. 22, 2008, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low. Roy was born Jan. 18, 1937, in Galletin, Tenn. As a young child his family moved to Colorado for a short time and then the family moved to North Platte, Neb. Roy is one of 15 siblings. In August of 1958, he married the love of his life, Carol Collins. They had three wonderful children. Roy was loved much by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by one and all. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol of Show Low; two daughters, Denice of Chugiak, Alaska, and Debra of Show Low; son Roy C. Trisdale Jr. of Show Low; a granddaughter in Anchorage, Alaska; three brothers, Donnie, Harry and Marlin; four sisters, Mary, Nellie, Polly and Sue. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Claude Kirt Trisdale Sr.; mother Vola B. Scott Trisdale; three sisters, Catherine, Peggy and Sara Francis; four brothers, John, Claude Kirt Jr., David and James. Memorial services will be held at the VFW Hall in Show Low Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. Services will be provided by the VFW and Moose Lodge. All of Roy's friends are welcome to attend.
