Byron "McKenzie" Smith passed away January 2, 2004 in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was 4 months old. He was born August 26, 2003 in Bossier City to Trevor and Jessie Smith formerly of Chandler, Arizona. 

Survivors include his parents, brother, Nathaniel and sister, Morgin. His Papa and Nana; Jerry and Crystal Mero of Deer Lodge, Montana. His Papa and Mammy; Geoffrey and Martha Smith of Chandler, Arizona. Great grampa, Norman Trahan of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Great gramma, Marge Mero of Deer Lodge, Montana. Great Granny, Ernesteen Watson of Lubbock, Texas. Aunt, Brittney Smith of Chandler, Arizona and uncles; Wade and Marvin Mero of Helena, Montana. Great aunt and uncle, Denise and Pat McConaghy of Mesa, Arizona and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Viewing Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Hansen Mortuary 8314 North 7th Street Phoenix, Arizona. Memorial service held Friday, January 9, 2004, at Desert Palm UCC 1230 East Guadalupe Road, Tempe, Arizona.
