Steven Kelly Scott, of Cornville, known to everyone as Steve, passed away September 14, 2010 after a brief illness. He was 64. Steve was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Steve lived much of his life in Phoenix. He worked in the construction business doing concrete and welding. 

For the past 7 years he has resided in Cornville, continuing his welding and construction, part time in the Verde Valley. His true love was the outdoors and he spent as much time as possible fishing. His beloved family and friends will truly miss his loving, giving nature, sense of humor and quick wit. 

His surviving family held a memorial BBQ in Buckeye, Arizona on Saturday November 6, 2010.
