COOPER, Jade

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Sunday, November 14, 2010 Jade Cooper was born Nov. 5, 1988, in Phoenix. Jade passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at the Tucson Medical Center Hospice unit called Peppi's House. Jade was a very special girl and a joy to behold. She is survived by her father, Carl; her mother, Shelly; and her two brothers, Quincy and Magnus. "I am standing on the seashore; a ship spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the ocean. I stand watching her until she fades on the horizon and someone on my side says ... she is gone. Gone where? The loss of sight is in me, not in her. Just at the moment when someone says: she is gone. There are others who are watching her coming. Their voices take up the glad shout: Here she comes!" (a quote from Henry Holland). A service for Jade's arrival in Heaven will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, at Grace Lutheran Church at 2101 Harrison St., Kingman, Ariz.; (928) 753-3068. In lieu of flowers or other thoughtful gestures, please make a donation in Jade's name to the KAOL Special Education Program, 3410 N. Burbank St., Kingman, AZ 86409.
