BEGAY, SR., Walter Lee

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 12, 2010 Walter Lee Begay Sr. entered into rest Nov. 10, 2010 in Show Low. He was born Sept. 1, 1954, in Snowflake. He will be dearly missed by all. Walter is survived by his mother Dorothy Begay; sons: Walter Lee Begay Jr., Joshua Lee Begay, Michael Lee Begay, Brandon Max Fisher; sister Shirley Silversmith; brother Curtis Lee Begay; companion: Beverly Hill Fisher; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Curt Begay; and brother Raymond Begay. A viewing will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Buck Spring Road in Pinetop with funeral services at noon with Bishop Knight officiating. Interment was held at Ponderosa Pine Cemetery in McNary. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
