Emmett Eugene Reed, 90, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, in Snowflake. He was born Nov. 7, 1917, in For Wayne, Ind., to Elias Eugene Reed and Margaret Daisy Killian.

Emmett is survived by three daughters, Joyce Ann (Marion) Nolte of Tempe, Mary Jean (Tom) Fischer of Show Low and Joan Carole (Ernie) Kullos of Phoenix; sister Melody Silvers of Indianapolis, Ind.; niece Judy Reed of Show Low; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Reed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Emmett Eugene Reed to The Carriage House in Snowflake, 395 W. Garden Lane, Snowflake, AZ 85937.
