William C. "Tiny" Miller

William C. “Tiny” Miller, 75, of Show Low, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010. He was born November 5, 1935, in Portland, OR, to William L. and Eva (Willis) Miller. He was raised and attended school in Beaverton, OR, graduating from Beaverton High School in 1954. He entered the US Marine Corps in 1954.
He had attended Phoenix Junior College and Arizona State University. He lived in Nevada for many years; working for Harrah’s in Lake Tahoe and had lived in Laughlin for more that 25 years, where he worked for Edgewater and the Colorado Belle. He came to Show Low in 2009, and grew to love the mountain in the short time he was here. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, mountain biking and skiing.
Survivors include a brother, Ted Miller and wife Phyllis of Show Low; two nieces, Christy Alexander and husband Matt of Maryville, TN and Heather Lucas and husband Adam of Surprise and a nephew, Mark Miller and wife Christa of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix; time and date will be announced.
