The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Tuesday, November 16, 2010 Jose Luis Varela 1968 - 2010 Jose Luis Varela, 42, of Cornville died November 12, 2010 at home. He was born July 20, 1968, in Agua Prieta, Sonoroa, Mexico, the son of Candelario and Francisca Varela. He leaves two sisters, Francisca Varela and Martha Varela, both of Cornville and several nieces and nephews. A visitation was held at the family home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 17, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in Azteca Lodge Cemetery (Cottonwood Cemetery).
