The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, November 17, 2010 page A-12 Delores “Dee” Young - honoring a unique jewel. Dee’s love transcended all boundaries. While many today may talk the talk, Dee walked the walk of genuine Christian love, and bestowed inimitable hospitality. Her 50-plus years of devotion to her teenage sweetheart and husband Don is a best seller. Equally impressive was the depth of her appreciation for science and creation; yet ever so humbly Dee attributed her genius to being a divine blessing. She delighted us with her custom hand-painted greeting cards, and she was an expert knit and crochet fiber artist. Despite severe health challenges, Dee conducted Bible courses until diagnosed as terminally ill. She and Don shared a passion for karaoke, travel, card games, and Mrs. Pollifax novels. Resting now in her great God Jehovah’s memory, a light has gone out, leaving an empty space in our hearts. Thus we eagerly await her resurrection back to life on earth’s paradise by Christ Jesus. Forever in our hearts, Gottfried and Favor Exner, Lisa and Yolanda Benitez.
