Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, November 17, 2010 Gloria (Tachias) Dusek, 55, of Kingman, formerly of Flagstaff, died due to complications of surgery Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Mrs. Dusek was born Aug. 18, 1955, in Flagstaff to Tio and Liz Tachias. She attended Mount Elden (Killip), EFJHS, Coconino High School and received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Northern Arizona University. She was the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Administrator in Kingman. Mrs. Dusek was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved to read, garden and tend to the wildlife around her home. Her greatest passion was spending time with her husband at home and as they traveled together. Mrs. Dusek is survived by her husband, Jerry Dusek of Kingman; sons Eric Phagan (Kendie) of Midland, Texas and Jason Dusek of San Diego; parents Tio Tachias (Micha) of Phoenix and Liz Fajardo (Johnny) of Albuquerque, N.M.; mother-in-law Oleta Dusek of Kingman; sisters Christine Gilbert (Willard), Sally McMillian (Tom) of Flagstaff, and Karen Marez (Pat) of Grants, N.M.; brother Tom Tachias of Phoenix; three grandchildren; five nieces; six nephews; and stepdaughter Andrea Dusek.
