REMY, Shirley (Noreen)

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, November 17, 2010 Shirley (Noreen) Remy, 71, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, in Phoenix. She was born May 29, 1936, in Winslow. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her home and heart were always open to friends and family whenever they needed her. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sister, Judy Kaufert (Ken); daughters Kelly Godsey (Paul Rada), Kathy Howsden (Mike), and Kim Hodges (Jeff); seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Sam and Mildred Casner; and her brothers, Houston Harris and Bill Casner. Services will be Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Winslow Stake Center, with the viewing in the relief society room from 3 to 4 p.m., followed by funeral services at 4 p.m. Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Desert View Cemetery. Greer's Mortuary of Winslow is handling arrangements.
