BACA, Robert Michael (Mike)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ Nov. 18, 2010 Robert Michael "Mike" Baca, 50, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in Springerville. He was born Aug. 4, 1960, in Phoenix to Mike and Vera Baca. Mike graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 1979. He joined the Navy and served his country from 1979 to 1983. He moved to Springerville where he raised his family and worked as a Timber Marker for the Forest Service. Mike was an outdoorsman; he was an angler and loved to hunt. Mike is survived by the mother of his children, Terri Baca; three sons: Rico, Marco, and Nick of Springerville; mother Vera Baca of Tucson; and was blessed to know his grandson Andres Robert Baca. "You will be missed". He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Brown Baca (1997). Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Springerville with a funeral mass following at 10 a.m. at the church.
