The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 19, 2010 Arlene May Palowitz, 77 of Show Low died Oct. 26, 2010, at Trillium Specialty Hospital of Mesa. She was born Aug. 9, 1933, to Ed and Grace Meagher. She was married to Henry Palowitz. Arlene moved from Chicago to Phoenix in 1957, she never failed to let you know the "Cubbies" was her team. She moved to Show Low in 1975. She loved to fish and play Bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, and one grandson. Arlene is survived by her two daughters, Donna (Richard), Diana (Martin) and one son, Henry Jr.; sister Shirley Striker; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Internment will be held at a later time next to her husband in the the Phoenix area.
