Irene Marie Bradford, 90, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in Eagar. She was born March 31, 1948, in Spooner, Wis., to Fredrick Babineau and Mabel Papillon.
Irene was a very independent woman. She received her nursing license Aug. 15, 1939.
She is survived by three daughters, Marie Claire (Charles) Heimerdinger of Marshall, Texas, Laura Ann Bradford (Fred Merk) of Melrose, Mass., Martha (Kenneth) Brown of Los Osos, Calif.; two sons, Freeman (Mariam) Bradford of Atascadero, Calif., and Thomas (Dana) Bradford of Lakeside; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, Robert Frank Bradford, as well as her parents.
Private services will be held.
