Ruth Fern Robertson, 85, of Vernon died Oct. 29, 2008, in Vernon. She was born July 11, 1923, in Lakeside.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Robertson, and a grandson, Jay Raven.

Survivors include two daughters, Opal (Rob) Raven and Jeanne (Mike) Powell; one brother, Truman Carel; three grandchildren, Todd Raven, Justin (Lena) Powell and Michelle Powell; four great-grandchildren, Josh Raven, Alexia Raven, Mandy Raven and Leonora Powell; and one great-great-granddaughter, Kylie Raven.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life service in her loving memory.
