Jim Bailey, 49, of Concho died Nov. 3, 2008, near Vernon. He was born in Phoenix March 10, 1959, to Robert and Thelma Bailey.
Jim worked as a telephone lineman. He was a very generous, caring and giving person. He helped raise numerous foster children. Jim will be missed by his family and all of his friends that loved him deeply. Jim loved his motorcycle.
Jim is survived by his wife, Karen Bailey of Concho; sons, JD (Amber) Bailey of Connecticut and JR Bailey of Phoenix; daughters Elizabeth Bailey of San Diego, Emily (Robert) Bishop of Pinetop and Carla Groth of Concho; brothers Mike (Belinda) Bailey, Ted Bailey and Fred Bailey; and eight grandchildren. "Hailey will miss her papa."
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judie, and daughter Stephanie Bailey.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Concho.
