Lindy Lindquist passed away on Nov. 14, 2010, in Scottsdale. He was born Willard W. Lindquist in Melrose, Minn., on Nov. 22, 1943.
Lindy worked for McDonnell Douglas Corporation and the Litton Bionetics Frederick Cancer Research Center and earned his MBA from the University of Maryland. Lindy and Marsha moved to Prescott from Washington, D.C., in 2008 and continued their joint consulting practice established in 1993.
Lindy was a leader in several national professional organizations - Institute for Management Consultants, Association of Proposal Management Professionals, and National Contract Management Association, an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, as well as an avid supporter of several charitable organizations.
His wife, Marsha, lives on with their beloved special dog Maya. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jenny and Brent Croghan, and two grandchildren.
Celebration of Life services will be at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Trinity Presbyterian Church Music Fund in honor of Lindy.
