The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Saturday, November 20, 2010 Paul Edgar Gordon, Jr., 64, of Camp Verde passed away on November 20, 2010. Paul was born March 11, 1946 in San Francisco, California to the late Paul Edgar, Sr. and Goldie Fern (Newcomb) Gordon. Paul served our country for four years in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; his sons, David (Nicole) Gordon of Clarkdale, Arizona, Michael (Janae) Gordon of Clarkdale, Arizona, Scott (Tamara) Gordon of Buckeye, Arizona, and Andrew (Andrea) Gordon of Mesa, Arizona; his daughter, Laura (Phillip) Sauls of Goodyear, Arizona; his sisters, Carolyn (Ken) Dey of Sun Lakes, Arizona and Susan (Rodney) Echols of Cottonwood, Arizona; his aunt, Gwenelda (Ray) Whipkey; 17 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Camp Verde Chapel, 360 S. 5th Street, Camp Verde with a visitation one prior to the service.
