Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Saturday, November 20, 2010 May 28, 1936 - Nov. 17, 2010 Carolyn S. Chada, 74, beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, died after a short battle with cancer Nov. 17. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry; children, Carl Chada, Susan Chada-Hursman (Arlen), Nancy Chada (Phil Freeman), Cathy “Cat” Chada; grandchildren, Cory, Faith and Graham; and brother, Walter Dahl. Larry and Carolyn enjoyed 16 winters in the Lake Havasu City area. Memorial services will take place Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church (Door 7W), 2499 North Helen St., North St. Paul, Minn. A memorial gathering will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul, Minn. and from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at church. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Trinity Lutheran Church quilting and prayer shawl group, Lake Nebagamon, Wis.; Lutheran Social Services; or any cancer research group. Arrangements were placed under the care of Sandberg Family Funeral Home, 651-777-2600.
