Wickenburg (AZ) Graphic Friday, May 27, 1932, p 5:1 Ash Fork A young lad, Orville Spengla, 17 years old, died in the operating room of Dr Jones on Wednesday afternoon. While attempting to board a fast moving freight he struck a railroad switch and was thrown under the train. His clothes became fastened to something under the freight car, and he was dragged several hundred feet when he was picked up. His body was badly mangled. Dr Jones gave him first aid. He lived for four hours after the accident.
