The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, November 22, 2010 David L. DuPuy passed on Nov. 20, 2010. He was the third child born to David Oscar DuPuy and Josie Freer DuPuy. He was born on July 24, 1931. David proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. After Korea, he served in the Air Force Air National Guard as a firefighter and worked in the motor pool until October 1986. He had a passion for horses and Harleys, riding both well into his senior years. His passion for horses led him to service with the San Bernardino Mounted Sheriff's Posse, where he served for many years. He is survived by his two daughters, Kathleen O'Brien of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Jacqueline Hall of Mesa, Ariz., and their husbands respectively Mike O'Brien and Robert Hall; six grandchildren, DeAnna and David O'Brien of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Jennifer, Jason, Peter and Phillip Hall of Mesa, Ariz.; sister, Colleen Wadsworth of Arcadia, Calif.; niece, Sheila Blaise of Los Angeles, Calif. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josie DuPuy; father, David Oscar DuPuy; brother, Glen DuPuy; and niece, Pamela DuPuy. A Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz. An inurnment at the Prescott National Cemetery will follow.
