Janet Lee Hoover, 73, passed away March 10, 2008 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Jan. 29, 1935 to Archie and Maurita (Oberg) Shaw in Highland Park, Mich. Jan was wed to James (Jim) Clayton Hoover from Nov. 19, 1955 until his passing on Sept. 3, 1973.
Jan worked for Jolly Roger Restaurants in Irvine, Calif., as a computer operator for 30 years. Jan moved to Lake Havasu City in 1982 making it her home, where she has enjoyed the lake, Laughlin, the lottery, and Yahtzee.
Jan leaves behind her life long friend to the end, Kurtis Saetre, of Lake Havasu City; one son, Bruce Hoover, of Westminster, Calif.; four daughters, Jennifer Boles, of Anaheim, Calif., Melissa Hardy, Robin Lusk and Julie Farshler, all of Lake Havasu City; sister, Jane Long, of Palo Verde, Calif.; thirteen grandchildren, Lacy, Jeff, Kimi, Amy, Steven, AJ, Amanda, Clayton, Brian, Nick, Katie, Cody and Bree; and two great grandchildren.
Mom can finally once again dance barefoot on the beach with Dad, but will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her.
