The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, November 24, 2010 James H. Lotts, longtime Wickenburg resident, passed away on Nov. 17. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Bennie and his family. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on Oct 26,1928. After graduating from Kiser High School he met, then married the love of his life Bennie on June 18,1948. They had eight children - Becky, Jim, Jeff, Amy, Lori, Tracy, Steve, and Tom. Jim retired from General Motors after 30 years of distinguished service. Soon after he and Bennie moved to Arizona. He and Bennie managed apartments in Phoenix before moving to Wickenburg. Jim and Bennie managed the Western Gardens Apartments for 12 years, then they became caretakers at Robson’s Mining World for a number of years. Upon retiring Jim and Bennie volunteered at Desert Caballeros Western Museum. Jim/Dad/Pa will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his many friends, his wife Bennie, his children Becky Jim (Vicki), Jeff (Anita), Lori (Walt), Tom (Toni); his grandchildren Amanda (Steve), Jimmy (Deb), Jeston, Maggie, (Jason), Jake (Sallie) Ben (Brianne), Matt, Woody, Alyssa, Abbie, Anthony, Joleigha; his great-grandchildren Dylan, Haylee, Aubrey, Rylie, Avery, Hunter, and Bubba. Jim was a loving husband, great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. “Pa,” as his family lovingly referred to him, was a kind and gentle man and loved by all who knew him. He welcomed friends and family into his home with a firm handshake or hug a cup of coffee and a warm meal. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at Robson’s Mining World late December.
