Mrs. Beth Craft, age 98, passed away at Copper Mountain Inn Nursing Home on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010. Beth was born on Dec. 13, 1911 in Waurika, Okla. Daughter of Minnie and Gaston Porterfield.
She married Ray Eisele in 1930 and had four children. Ray passed away in 1975. Beth was a homemaker. She was a talented seamstress who was able to make extra money for her family by dress making and alterations. She loved her family dearly and was always willing to sacrifice so that her children could have the things they needed.
Beth was a spiritual person and loved her church work. Beth will always be remembered for her sweet disposition and her smile. The last 12 years of Beth's life were some of the happiest. She married Gene Craft, the love of her life in 1998.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters and two brothers.
She leaves behind in loving memory her two daughter, Betty Rose (Ivan Warren), and Gayle (Johnny) Owensby both of Globe; her two sons, Richard Eisele of Miami, and Edward (Avis) Eisele of Superior; her stepchildren, Carl (Judy) Craft of Grayling, Mich. and Karen Noppenberg of Claypool; her brother, Jerry Porterfield of Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Beth will be greatly missed by her family and will be remembered with joy in all of their hearts.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 at Central Heights Baptist Church.
Final resting place is at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami, Ariz.
Assisting the family is Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
