POWELL, Edwin Wallace

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, Nov 17th, 2010 Edwin Wallace Powell, age 64 of Globe, Ariz. passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at his residence in Globe. He was born in Benson, Ariz. on Aug. 7, 1946, the son of Edward and Esther Powell. Edwin enjoyed being around people and friends. Edwin grew up and was educated in Miami, Ariz. He was a member of the American Legion and the Elks for 40 years. He had worked for Inspiration Copper, Cyprus and Phillips Dodge. He worked for ASARCO as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He was very active in the community. He will be missed by family and all those who knew him. Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Esther Powell. Edwin is survived by his wife, Judith Powell, of Globe, and his sister, Izora Van Der Voort of Miami, Ariz.
