Eric T. Kyllo, 41, of Canby, Ore., died March 2, 2008, after a courageous battle with brain cancer at his home. Eric was born Dec. 2, 1966, in Portland, Ore., to William and Ida Stewart Kyllo.
He graduated from Canby High School in 1985. On April 21, 1990, he married Diane Powlison. Eric was a Pipeline Construction Foreman and a proud employee of S-2 Construction Company of Canby. He has lived in Oregon his entire life except for the past four years when he resided in Lake Havasu City.
Eric loved to play and watch his children play sports. He enjoyed most all outdoor activities including fishing, camping and hiking. He also loved art, poetry and music.
He was a member of New Life Foursquare Church.
Surviving family members include his loving wife, Diane Kyllo, of Canby; their five children, Joshua, Levi, Noah, Roman and Kennedy Kyllo, all of Canby; three brothers, Jesse Kyllo, of Canby, Jake and Sam Kyllo, of Scotts Mills, Ore.; three sisters, Amy, Laurie, and Kathy Kyllo, all of Aurora, Ore.; and his parents, William and Ida Kyllo of Woodburn, Ore.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Eric Kyllo Donation Fund at the Canby West Coast Bank.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m., at the New Life Foursquare Church in Canby. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at Canby Funeral Chapel.
