Margaret Browne passed away Nov. 23, 2010, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 86. She was born to Harold and Rose (Marsh) Smith on June 17, 1924 in Madison, Wis.
Margaret and husband Ross R. Browne were married in 1945 and made Madison their home until 1978 when they moved to Prescott, Ariz. They resided in Prescott for 30 years, where she worked at Prescott's Samaritan Village until retirement. After the passing of her husband in 1995, Margaret relocated to Lake Havasu City in 2008.
She was an inspiration of positive thinking and good nature to all. She loved and was loved by her family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
Margaret leaves behind her beloved family, sons, James Preston Browne of Bloomington, Ill. and Robert Allen Browne of Madison, Wis.; daughters, Cynthia Jane Harrison of Prescott, Ariz. and Michelle Lynn Schneider of Lake Havasu City; sister, Clara Rahn of Ella Belle, Ga.; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Evelyn; and husband, Ross R. Browne.
