Edwin William O'Neill, 75, died Monday, Aug. 25, at Serenity Hospice in Phoenix. He was born Jan. 2, 1933, in Waterbury, Conn., to William Joseph O'Neill and Dorothy Peck O'Neill.
Edwin graduated from Woodbury High School and Post University in Connecticut. He was a tech sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving as a paratrooper. He was employed with the Phoenix Title Insurance Co. for many years and served as president of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce. Edwin was a resident of Round Valley for many years. He was everybody's friend and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by one brother, Hiram W. Peck Jr., of Bethlehem, Conn.; nieces and nephews Hiram W. Peck, III, Gregory Peck and Peter Peck of Sweden, Susan Peck of Ocala, Fla., Louis Talarico of Oxford, Conn. and Marilyn Miller of Mocksville, N.C.
