Stanley G. Baker, 82, of Kingman passed away Feb. 5, 2008, at his home. He was born Jan. 4, 1926, in New York City. Stanley grew up in Long Beach, Calif., where he worked as an electrical foreman for Long Beach Navel Shipyard for 28 years. Stanley proudly served his country in WWII.
Stanley and his family moved to Lake Havasu City and lived here for 21 years. Stanley was a loving and caring father who was always there for his family and friends. He was always helping someone in need; changing a tire or fixing the plumbing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Ruth Baker, of Kingman; his children, Desiree Baker, John Bruce Baker, and Corey Christopher Baker, all of Kingman; three grandchildren; sister, Francis, of Oklahoma; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and his children from a previous marriage, Cathleen and Geno and their children, Ethan, Jordan and Bailey.
Stanley’s family would like to greatly thank Kingman Regional Medical Center Hospice for the great care and support when hugs were needed.
