FUGATE, Billie June

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 6, 2008 Billie June Fugate was born in Springfield, Ill., Oct. 20, 1940. She moved within a year to Arizona with her parents. The majority of her working years were spent as an office manager for the Tucson Unified School District. Billie was always active with craft work, her church and the education association. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of two. She is survived by her husband, James; daughters Amy, Mary, Annie and Michelle; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 5147 Show Low Lake Road, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Tucson Medical Center Hospice, The American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
