GRZESIOWSKI, Frank Julius


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Thursday, February 7, 2008 Frank Julius Grzesiowski, 81, a 41-year resident of Lake Havasu City passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008. He was born July 26, 1926, in St. Louis, Miss., to Julius and Mildred “Marcinkowski” Grzesiowski. Frank worked as a contractor for Creative Construction Company in Lake Havasu City for 28 years. He was a proud veteran of World War II in the US Army Air Corps. Frank was a charter member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and a council member in 1967 and also in the 1980’s, member of Lake Havasu Masonic Lodge for 50+ years, a charter member of B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 2399, founding director of Lake Havasu City Chamber of Commerce, past president of Lake Havasu Men’s Golf Club, past president of Lake Havasu Contractors Assn., president and past member of the board of directors of Lake Havasu United Way, and past member of the Lions and Kiwanis. He received the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church Gold Leaf Award. Frank is survived by his loving family; wife, Theresa Grzesiowski; sons, Gary and Larry Grzesiowski; sisters, Josephine Egan, Elsie Sutkowski and Bernice Sumski (Edward); sisters in law, Marie Grzesiowski and Carol Dueren; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by is Mother, Father, Brother and is first wife Iona. He truly believed he was a very blessed man and tried very hard to be a blessing to others. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-8 p.m., at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Words of comfort will be said by Pastor Greg Mannel. Inurnment will be following at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Columbarium. Military honors will be performed by V.F.W. Post No. 9401 and American Legion No.81. A memorial donation can be made in Frank’s name to Mt. Olive Seminary Fund or the Youth Fund.
