Katherine Elizabeth Bogert, 94, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, in Lake Havasu City. She was born July 26, 1913, in Paterson, N.J., to Edward and Henrietta (Ranbow) Parliman and resided in Paterson for 67 years.
Katherine wed Neil Bogert on May 31, 1927, and was married for 30 years. Following Neil's death, Katherine and her daughter Ruth moved to Toms River, N.J. and then moved to Lake Havasu City 27 years ago.
Katherine worked for the Toms River School district as a teacher's aide for 10 years and upon moving to Lake Havasu City, she worked as a Nurse's Aid at Lake Havasu Nursing Center for 10 years.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Ruth Bogert, of Lake Havasu City; niece, Georgina Siegel, of Cape Coral, Fla.; nephew, Bradley Parliman, of Coventry, Conn.; and cousins Wilber Parliman, of Colorado and Edna Thomas, of Pennsylvania.
No services are to be held. Donations can be made in Katherine's name to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.
