Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, January 9, 2008 Virginia Marion Berghs passed away Dec. 22, 2007, in Las Vegas. She was born July 25, 1918, in Minnesota to Frank Joseph Trudell and Emily Elizabeth Rassmussen. Virginia lived in Lake Havasu City for the past 12 years, moving here from Mesa. She also lived in Havre, Mont., and St Cloud, Minn. Virginia survived the Great Depression, the European flu, World War I and II, and all wars forward. Before she was married, she attended secretarial college. She married Glen Gilmore in 1940. The family moved to Havre, Mont., where Virginia became the manager of a Sears, Roebuck and Co. mail-order store until her retirement. She moved to Mesa, where she met her second husband Larry Berghs, and together they moved to Lake Havasu City in 1978. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Emily Trudell; her first husband, Glen Gilmore; second husband, Larry Berghs; brothers, Gerald and Clifford Trudell and sister, Laura Trudell.
